That won’t change. 9 wins is Coach O’s ceiling. How many seasons in our future will LSU have a winning record against Auburn, Bama, A&M and UF? I don’t see any. He won’t own Auburn forever and it looks like Mullen has his number and now fisher maybe as well. Add to it we’re continually scheduling tough OOC games (at UT next year) and we’re always susceptible to a let down loss to a Mississippi school or an East cross over. I don’t see us getting over the 9 win hump anytime soon. We may have exceeded expectations this year but I’m not sure there is a whole lot to look forward to. Depth and talent on defense is about to take a huge blow on draft day and our offense started AND finished the seaosn with no identity.
This on both sides the ball. Our defense couldn’t stop a leaking faucet in OT. Injuries hurt but we were absolutely pathetic on defense in OT.
