oh snap i am getting edited. anyways, i get excited about this topic because i think it is self-important, stupid and disrespectful to blame anyone for 9/11 except the religious lunatics that murdered innocent americans.
I can't tell if you are serious or is this just how new yorkers talk...? Anyway, I will be happy to address the why and the how later. I sincerely think you are just trying to cloud the issue of what happened, though. Why don't we take care of the what first and then deal with the rest. That's a good question and I don't know the answer off the top of my head. I do know one thing, though. They don't collapse even after raging fires rip through the building for hours until it is completely gutted but still standing. Steel is pretty damn strong. I don't know squat about engineering. That doesn't really matter, though. Kind of like it doesn't really matter that Red is a scientist and you are not but you are more than likely correct on AGW....at least as far as the evidence is concerned, at the moment. And it doesn' really matter that you have been in those buildings, either. That's one thing I don't understand about this forum. Everyone is always saying your not a coach so you can't say the team is poorly coached because you don't know the difference. Or you've never been to the Middle East so you can't say squat about the political situation there, or you're not a scientist, blah, blah, blah. None of that crap has anything to do with the facts.....why don't you just stick to those? What is the point in asking for peoples resume all the time?
again, everything you need to know is here Debunking the 9/11 Myths: Special Report - Popular Mechanics analyze why yo do not accept that and you will know why you are a bad person. you dont know that. lunatic idiots told you that and you lack the critical thinking skills to accept that it isnt true. you are starting from a crazy stupid premise and pretending it is unassailable. why? why do you want that to be true? thats the question that vexes me. popular science: "WTC 7 might have withstood the physical damage it received, or the fire that burned for hours, but those combined factors — along with the bulding's unusual construction — were enough to set off the chain-reaction collapse. " flabengal: "i think it was mass murdering conspirators, thousands of them, and not just bums, but elected officials and responsible peopel in many different private and government organizations, all of them mass murderers apparently able to do their dirty deeds unnoticed, perhaps they are invisible. i know this because a building fell down after getting bashed and burned. who would ever believe a building would get bashed and burned and fall? crazy!"

even if a building had never collapsed due to fire, we still have evidence of one that did, with the help of being bashed all to hell, world trade 7. i cant imagine why anyone could ever feel like it was more likely demolished. i really just cant understand why someone would think that? why? i remember after 9/11, the first day the ferries would run me from my jersey city waterfront apartmen across to downtown (the trains were busted) i went to look and there was significant damage everywhere to the surrounding buildings. perhaps with fire they would have fallen to from the damage. oh no of course they wouldnt because the one thing flabengal knows is that building stand forever regardless of damage, until he says it is ok.
not a building like the WTC. The initial blast from the impact of the planes destroyed the fireproofing on the steel structure. So a spark from a cig wouldn't burn down the WTC, maybe an old ass building in queens or something but not a skyscraper with fireproofing on the steel. Kind of ironic how you blast me for speculating when it comes to climate change, yet you spew off garbage that isn't even true. Nice.
Originally posted by SabanFan: I did a sloppy job of cutting and pasting. I meant I wasn't sure how many skyscrapers had been built and how many have had serious fires. As far as the McCormick building and the Toy Factory, that is interesting. I'll look into it and check in later. You might have me on that one. Thank you for posting it, by far the most relevant thing I've run across yet.
