Lemme know what that thermometer read, hot rod.

    Maybe, but highly unlikely

    [QUOTE
Those are some hard questions to answer and I think you're going off on the wrong track but I'll try and make my point as best I can:

    How were demos installed?

-I'm not a demolition expert and I'm not interested in becoming one so can only say if, based on your questioning you believe (and rightly so) that:

bringing down a high rise like that would require lots of planning, precision placement of charges in specific places within the framework of the building in addition to complex wiring to insure the correct sequence in regard to load bearing failure......blah, blah, blah.

Yeah, I agree completely.....that's pretty goddamn tough. Which is why the odds of it happening randomly through chaotic fire and debris damage....are.......uh,.....well,....PRACTICALLY NIL. NIL.

It reminds me of that scene in CASINO when Dinero fires the useless nephew of the dude in the cowboy hat after somebody rigged the machines and hit several jackpots on the slotmachines within the span of a few minutes.

The odds of it happening are a billion to one, it would not happen, it cannot happen.][/QUOTE]

Yet you seem to be so sure that it was done with demos

    to tie in with above:
    ^^^

I see a good bit of "could" used

If it was damaged by fire, chances are it would be covered by insurance.?

That's the easy thing about pretending that it was a conspiracy and being a truther. You need no proof whatseoever. Just your words.

so are you a troll just trying to stir the pot, or do you really believe the sh*t you post?

because either way, i find it quite disgusting that someone is playing a game based on a mass murder from a horrible act of terrorism. and obviously, by your own words, you consider this subject and its discussion nothing more than a game to entertain you.

Certainly I am posting things I sincerely believe. This is more a question of me having constructed a flawed argument which martin and Red have pointed out. I agree it doesn't make sense to try to seperate Bldg 7 from the rest of the days events but I have no interest in talking about the Twin Towers....people get emotional about it and I don't really blame them.

Wow. I don't know quite what to say except you seem to have misinterpreted my point of view to an extraordinarily high degree. Why always an attempt to demonize the individual making the commentary? What is it that you are attempting to do by labeling this thread or me disgusting? What is disgusting in your view, the thread itself or my comments?

It seemed to generate some interest based on the views. I was happy to drop the subject yesterday but a few other posters made a comment or two and I thought maybe it wasn't just interesting to me and martin.

So I answered a few points based on the stance I had taken earlier. This was a character failure on my part in some way, according to you. Please instruct me as to what was indecent about my replies, I would like to know.

If you feel like the loss of life on 9/11 demands a respectful tone and sincere dialogue, well, I agree. I would hope that we, as American citizens do respect those that died to such a degree as to demand an honest and full assessment of the days events. I personally don't feel like we have gotten that, yet. And despite your opinion there are many, many people who agree with me. There may not be many on this forum, I admit but they are there and they are not kooks and whackos or whatever insult you would like to throw there way.

And lastly, regarding the "game" aspect you seem so hung up on.....there are lots of similarities between games and debates. Points for or against....winning and losing........showing some graciousness toward your "opponent"....this is what I referred to regarding "playing".

I think the term is being a "good sport" and it is one of the things a person is supposed to learn as a child through athletics and carry on to their adult life. At least, that was my interpretation of the situation.

do you understand why a holocaust denier is an *******? because distorting history for your own stupid agenda is irresponsible. particularly when you have to go to incredible lengths to deny the truth.

the fact is that the truth is quite easy to believe, and not at all suspicious. truthers are aware of this, but are selfish pricks who refuse to make an effort to be honest with themselves, preferring instead to distort reality for no real reason other than they are *******s.

there are plenty of topics out there you can try if want to be the ass that is smarter than everyone and sees the truth for what it is. trust me, i know. this isnt one of those topics. you are simply a clown if you are a contrarian on this one.

i dont see talking about a mass murder and a act of terrorism "a game". period. discussion, debate, argument.... yes. a game for your entertainment, no. "sport" has nothing to do with talking about an act that killed thousands of innocent people. period.

game, sport, and entertainment are the height of insensitivity regarding innocent deaths, imo.

    im done.

flabengal, i appreciate the fact that you stand by your convictions, i listened to the truthers for awhile and Alex Jones and all those guys who think there was a big conspiracy behind the 9/11 attacks by the US Government, but it really doesn't make sense. Check this page out, it explains alot of what happened.
