Sorry Ramah but ISTIL had the facts down cold. If OU had beaten K State it would have been OU #1, USC #2 and LSU #3 in the human polls but LSU would have still been #2 in the computers. Your beefs with the Fly and TigerEducated have nothing to do with me.
Unless OU had BARELY won or lost to Kansas State, and had fallen to #2 in one or both human polls, and USC went to #1 and LSU stayed at #3 in the same poll or polls. Under those circumstances, LSU would not be in the Sugar Bowl.
Actually, that's not true; if anything, our spread over USC would have been bigger since Georgia would have finished #10 in the final BCS, thus giving us a Quality Win boost. People like ramah are now buying into the media hype of how good USC is. Truth is the same media would be brining up (and in some cases are) UL-Monroe & Western Ill. over and over and over and over and over (trying to get through to ramah) to make the case for USC. As it is Pete Carrol is saying they did everything possible to make it. Uhh, no you didnt, you lost to Cal! Now let's discuss Church Point. That is a scary place.
