Worst Movies You've Ever Seen Since we have the review thread going, I thought it would be funny to get a list of movies we should stay away from. In my case, it seems there are a few people that I've learned to avoid watching movies with or taking suggestions from. When in my teens, I would stay over at my friend's house a lot, and his parents would rent movies. They always seemed to be B movies or TV movies brought to DVD that were absolutely unbearable to watch. I've seen some stinkers with them. Anyway... Some of the worst movies I've ever seen: Isle of Dr. Moreau - My all-time worst movie ever. People with animal make up that would make the Broadway show Cats jealous. Horrible acting and there's even a scene where the animal-humans are doing it doggy style. Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando should've been ashamed. Gone Fishing - We took it out after 15 minutes when I was around 13 years old. I knew then it sucked. Without a Paddle - We (family) rented this one a few years ago, and after 15 minutes or so, I left and went to my room. It's far too painful trying to watch actors trying to be funny. Baby Geniuses - Yeah. Battlefield Earth - One of the movies my friends parents rented. How on Earth did Elron Hubbard become so influential? Oh yeah, celebrities took his ideas and crammed them down our throats and made them into a movie. The Cat in the Hat - The success and humor found with The Grinch was nowhere to be found with this one. Mike Myers seems to be on a skid lately. Pluto Nash - Another SNL guy on a skid. Horrible. Batman and Robin - Maybe I'm just an offended Batman fan, but this movie sucked royally. Judge Dread - Bad. Envy - As much as I like Jack Black and Ben Stiller, this movie was terrible. Another one I took out after 15 minutes. Deuce Bigalo: European Gigolo - Took this one out after 10 minutes max. Dude Where's My Car? - Yeah, no explanation needed.
Re: Worst Movies You've Ever Seen Haha... my friends went to go see that without me (I was at work). They all got up and walked out. :hihi:
Re: Worst Movies You've Ever Seen that is a pretty bang on list. Top of the list should be Batman and Robin or Battlefield Earth.
Bump for CajunPunk p.s. I still think that Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet with Leo DiCaprio was a giant lop of shiit.
punks thread: at least i wasnt drunk the first time we did this. i still agree with sideways. whether right or wrong i still yell strong homo when someone likes this movie. i can understand thedude liking it, but he gets a pass. john adams saved the mans career.
Re: Worst Movies You've Ever Seen 1. Worst old film I ever saw on TV -- The Conqueror 1949 -- John Wayne as Genghis Khan is the worst casting in Hollywood history. "This Tartar woman stirs my blood!". You have to try to see it on its rare TV appearances, it's truly appalling. 2. Worst movie I actually paid money to go see -- Freebee and the Bean 1974 -- Totally insipid police comedy/drama. Two San Francisco detectives try to be cool and funny as they beat witnesses, break the law, and abuse all moral standards to catch the "bad guy". Alan Arkin and James Caan at their absolute worst. I doubt it was ever made into a video and it never plays on TV. It was that bad. Dreadful. 3. Worst recent movie -- Evan Almighty. It was wretched from the start. Morgan Freeman as God couldn't save it.
Re: Worst Movies You've Ever Seen Stop or My Mom will Shoot. Now, I didn't actually see this movie, but the title alone should tell you enough.
Re: Worst Movies You've Ever Seen I actually enjoyed this movie. Yup. Is this the one with Ice Man? If not, that one should be included too. Eh, it is what it is. If you don't like movies like that it is pretty horrible, but if you know what to expect it isn't that bad.
:rofl: I loved them and agree, I have to watch. Another one in the same category is Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. Just get sucked in. As to my worst: Magnolia - intellectual movies sometimes work. this one didn't Cobra - he has made so many but I will single this one out Ishtar - how can they ever be forgiven for this? Smokey and the Bandit sequels - the original was perfect The Rookie - one of Clint's few misfires Wolf - one of Jack's few misfires The Wiz Navy Seals
