Here are a few doozies: Drop Dead Fred (By far the worst movie ever made) Romeo and Juliet (I know it's been mentioned twice, but ya'll are right, this one was bad.) Superman Returns(the most recent one....it was WAY too long and dragged out) Jumanji RV (w/ Robin Williams...watched it w/ my little girl...horrible)
i have read a few times that the fifth element is often used as a reference for hdtv color quality and stuff. apparently it has lots of scenes that do a good job of showing off contrast ratio and whatever. so when it comes on tnt hd i always watch it and marvel about how awesome my tv is. it is terrible, but milla jovovich is worth watching.
I have a few to add. The Postman Water World Batlefield Earth Gummo I would watch the first three movies on this list daily to have the memory of Gummo burned from my mind.
YES. I KNEW there were some movies I was forgetting -- movies so bad that I couldn't watch them even when on a long flight. RV is definitely one. I couldn't make it past roughly the 10 minute mark, before deciding the back of the seat in front of me was more interesting. INSOMNIA. Holy hell, this movie is a cure for insomnia, so it's either terrible or brilliant. I'm not sure which. I don't recall the exact destination, but the airline had the audacity to show this movie on both the to AND FROM legs of the trip. At least two J-Lo movies -- I don't know which ones, but I elected to sit in silence on a roughly 14 hour flight from Riyadh to JFK while these movies were options. Full disclosure -- I pack like an ADD-inflicted librarian on flights. But sometimes I'd rather just watch the movie. Not with the above movies. And the Riyadh flight?? I had finished three books, about a dozen magazines and a few newspapers that I brought with me. Even still, I couldn't watch their in-flight "entertainment."
I have that same affliction with the following horrible movies (IE if they are on I watch them and i dont know why, but I have seen them 30 times) 1. Road House- Collosal piece of garbage 2. Stone Cold - Brian Bozworth at his finest If they are on I watch them. Cannot look away.
I just like the part where Sam Elliot shatters the goon's kneecap and then smiles and says, "That really hurts, doesn't it?"
