"Sleepless in Seattle," or was that a Freudian slip? I thought it was entirely overhyped, personally, and that's with one of my favorite movies being "When Harry Met Sally."
i liked fight club a few years after i saw it the first time. I believe i thought it was stupid the first time or at least really weird. guess i knew what to expect and was good seeing norton in that type role. i mean that movie predated rounders didnt it? maybe not.
it would probably be way better the second time and norton is one of my favorite actors. it was not really what i was expecting when i saw it so i probably had a bad attitude from the beginning. those other movies will not get s second chance. i mainly dislike weird thinking type movies that have weird cameras and music...i dont care if they win awards at independent film festivals.
Worst movie I ever saw was Bug with Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr. Ishtar is second by a close margin, but Bug was hideous you'd think Ashley Judd being a big name she might pick better movies, All I can think is that she is either sleeping with the screenwriter or lost a bet because that sucked.
