Way to attempt to backtrack but these are some of your first posts which claim USC won the BCS in 2003, which, once again, is not true.
Okay, I have to weigh in. USCvBall, you just lost credibilty with me. You count 2003 as a national championship but you will not acknowledge LSU or the AP Poll it came from. And you ignore the BCS. The BCS is recognized as the true National Champion of College Football as hard as that is for you and your USC fan base to accept and swallow. It is what it is. And you will not fully acknowledge your BCS Championship in 2004 for fear it would take away from your so called 2003 NC. You have to be very careful on how you word your so called championship in 2003. For all of USC's attraction and media support they only have one national championship. Texas beat you bad in your own town. If we get you in NOLA in January we will defend our considered home game a lot better then you did in the Rose Bowl. I know it's hard for you to take this, but it is what it is. Don't diminish LSU and we won't diminish you.
This has to be the nicest post all day! LSU fans.............lighten up...........it was too easy to get all of you upset and now some are even asking for help from above to get me banned! It is a long season and like somebody said earlier, it's week 2 so both LSU and USC have a long road before making reservations for the BCS Title game. But now I have to tee off and enjoy our beautiful So Cal weather but don't worry, I will be back to check in and good luck this season....nothing would make me happier than seeing USC and LSU in the title game .... Boy, this was fun..............and it was all in fun...I feel USC is better than LSU but only a game between the 2 teams would make that true
this is how you try to save face when made a fool. Pretend it was a joke then slither away back in the hole you escaped. Next time, do your homework. It will save you the embarrassment of proclaiming something you know nothing about. oh yeah, 38-6.
On a 4th down touchdown with under a minute to play? That game was close and exciting. I don't get too bent out of shape about 2003. If the shoe were on the other foot and LSU was voted #1 by the AP without winning the BCS......you better believe I'm calling that a National Championship. (Glad we got the cool-looking trophy though).
The only legitimate point he made was that the weather there is much better. Other than that, as Dale Carnegie said: "Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain and most fools do."
Nice picture. ...your wife is a beuaty! Coach Carroll has 2 national titles and is on his way to a 3rd......Coach Les has....zero. save face....can you read? I stand behind what I wrote and LSU fans on this site need to relax..I guess the pressure of blowing another season is weighing heavy on you Southern folks.
Look out for Oregon State and UCLA. They're brutal. You are clearly lying about your 3:00 tee time, it's 3:20 right now. Still haven't heard what 'hood in Southern Cal you call home. If it's dumpy Fresno I'm not surprised you keep it to yourself.
USC has no business being #1. They haven't beaten anyone this year except the perennial powerhouse of Idaho. I saw USC play last year when they disemboweled the Hogs and that Trojan team looked good (big and fast) but they didn't look anywhere near as sharp as this year's Tiger squad. USC's problem is that they stumble when confronted with a top flight team because of the poor level of competition they face in the PAC 10. That being said Oregon and Cal do look great this year so let's see if SoCal can get past them to earn the right to play the best in the country. I hope both teams do run the table so we can settle this once and for all. TIGER BAIT! :tigerhead
Its Ladies Day at the course on Monday so we can't tee off until 4pm but thanks for paying attention OSU is not brutal, learn the game. Now UCLA, Cal and Oregon are very good teams but I think USC can handle them. I call Belmont Shores (section of Long Beach) home. Again, thanks for caring.
