Just pulled this from a USC forum......looks like all eyes are on LSU. SO MANY USC fans there were honest and acknowledged LSU looked phenominal, some even said they were "Concerned".

    Quick question......What's Rey's last name? (Don't answer vball- I'm fan-checkin him)

USC is a very solid program playing in a very overrated conference, and that's the SEC's problem with USC; and by very solid, you can substitute great, and by very overrated you can substitute very, very overrated.

In the past ten years, USC is the ONLY Pac-10er to represent the Pac-10 in the Nat'l Championship and the ONLY Pac-10er to consistently finish at the top of the recruiting races. Meanwhile, the SEC has LSU, Florida, and Tennessee who have all represented our conference in the BCS Nat'l Championship and won. All 3 consistently finish at the top of the recruiting races as well. Throw in an Auburn program who has had the same exact gripe as USC with the BCS and a Georgia program who has consistently finished in the top 10 and you can see why SECers get so aggravated with this topic. The SEC is head and shoulders the best conference in the college football world. This is NOT a shot at USC, it's a shot at the rest of that conference who doesn't follow in USC's footsteps.

So to reiterate...LSU, Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn all have BCS Nat'l Championships(if you're counting a USC '03, we're counting Auburn '04). Meanwhile USC is the lone representative for the Pac-10.

    SEC football > All

P.S. I didn't read the whole thread so if someone mentioned this...you shoulda told me before I typed this :)

I just wanted to get in here one more time for posterity before the thread died. Didn't think it was fair everyone else got to boost their post count and get left out.

Yeah, so I'm a conforumist (hehe).
