I have been mail in voting in Florida since they started allowing it with early voting. I started it because of work schedules and wifes health prevented me from getting to the polls.
    • You must request it online using your Voter ID number or Social Security number and other information (address, etc)...
    • The ballot is serialized and bar coded.
    • The ballot arrives 2-3 weeks before election day.
    • Ballot must be filled out and inserted into the enclosed secrecy sleeve
    • Envelope must be sealed, signed and dated,
    • Signature on envelope must match
    • ballot must be received on or by election day.
    • You can track your ballot from the time they mail it through receiving and counting.
    • Ballots are opened, check and processed on arrival. Not after election day.
    Easy and secure.

Without deep examination, that appears to be the process in NC, except here you need a witness name, address, and signature on the envelope (not the ballot). I get text messages upon receipt at the post office, receipt at BoE, and a text when my ballot is accepted.

I am well aware of the big races and issues, but most down ballot issues I don’t know Jack. By voting at home I’m able to make much more informed choices since I can Google unknown names or issues I am unfamiliar with. IMHO, it’s a much better way of voting.

Plus, you don’t have to deal with the partisans that mass outside a polling places perimeter. The last time I voted in person, I got stuck in line beside some jackass in a coffin, who kept popping up, SCREAMING a vote for "x" would result in us all going to our graves. I’m too old for that bullshit!

Many ways to skin the cat, but the most important is just having some system that is auditable.

You get to research those amendments and resolutions that are often full of unintended consequences or are purposely worded to be confusing and misleading. I just wish everyone did research before voting.

I always do. I always pull up a sample ballot a week or two before the election so I know what's on it. The only things I ever need to research are the state questions and if there are any judges on the ballot.

Your reading comprehension shows your time in Oklahoma has made you even more stupid if that’s possible. The article says Jesse Benton is going to jail for funneling Russian money in 2016. It made no claim that your orange god was involved, neither did I. Read the fucking article I posted……if you can.

I haven’t seen an article worthy yet. Why don’t you comment on the many posts I make critical of Biden? In fact other than Ukraine what post have I made that hasn’t been critical????
