Yeah its by Ken burns the guy who did the civil war and baseball. It was all on PBS originally. Everything he does is very well done.
My dad is a Korean war vet but he felt very deaply for the way the vietnam guys were treated. Maybe because the Korea guys were also treated with almost no respect.

100 more tons than was dropped in WWII I think was the number I heard. That was just on the Ho Chi Minh trail. They just kept coming. This is the exact thinking that the command had and exactly why it never worked. Gross miscalculation of the pulse of the people.
