Until an lsu quarterback starts throwing for over 200 yards a game , I'm afarid we will not get the credit we deserve. We score 40+ points a game now playing like we play. If we scored 40+ points throwing the ball we would be seen in a diffrent light. Outsiders still see this years offense as a the same as last years.
Some have said our beating uo was because a freshman couldn't hold on to the ball more than lsu's offense beating uo's defense.

14-0 with a crystal ball is pretty sexy to me! Even if we do it by running for 300 yards a game!

Well, if it's a high scoring game, it sure won't be State doing the high scoring! If it's a low scoring game, then MooU will at least keep it close.

    Geaux Tigers! 42-17

And a good one. It's his blog, the whole column is about his opinions.

State likely can't keep up with LSU in a shootout, our defense is too good.

But . . . State, like LSU, does have a ground-control running game, so if it is a close game and they get a lead, they can eat up the clock and keep us from getting the ball back.

I think the difference will be ...

There good running game will be going up against our good run defense.

Our good running game will be going up against their so-so run defense.

I don't think .... and hope ... that this game will be close at all. I think LSU has them down something like 20+ to 6 going into the half. I don't think they even score a TD the whole game. Our D is just too deep, thus they will not be able to wear our D down.

It will come to turnovers and scoring after turnovers.
I see lsu winning the turn over battle and blowing it up in the third, much like uo

Last week we rested Lee, Ware, most of the OL, rotated DL and LB'ers. We played 71 players. This team is fresh. Relf rushed the ball 27 times, bama RB Richardson had less rushes last week. Short week.......

    LSU Rolls.............:tigereye:
