I didn't understand that call at all. The flag was thrown, then picked up and the play was allowed to stand. Okay, there was no targeting, but wasn't there still roughing the passer on that play? If so, the play should not have been allowed to stand. Doesn't make sense. Any thoughts on this?
SEC official are horrible, contact was made to the head, but no the vandy player did not lower his head, if he did... he would have never made contact with the helmet.
