I really think the government is inept on almost every level. this just furthers that belief.

It doesn't seem fair or constitutional to jail Apple employees for not helping, they are not suspects and have nothing to do with anything. Creating a code that is hard to break is not a crime.

There is no way the government can compel Apple engineers to do this if they don't want to. And they can't put them in jail, that would be a major fucking disaster. I think Apple will win this. The only thing they could try is some sort of punishment for Apple, but I don't see it happening. Apple is the richest company on earth and they won't be pushed around, even by the Feds.

In the end it's just math so I'm sure we can break it... and i personally believe the nsa can break the phone, they just won't because it's better to let this play out in public that way the rag heads think there covered.
