I think Apple should stand their ground. The onus is on the idiot feds to break the algorithm. Is our govt that inept where they cant read encrypted data even if they have the device in hand. jesus christ. apple building backdoors has been a security nightmare for them in the past. it never ends well and given the scope of this one it would be even worse. once that info is anywhere, it finds its way to everyone. and if the boot loader is released, their proprietary position will be in jeopardy. everything theyve worked for is proprietary so theres no way they can release this without undermining every advantage they have in the marketplace. the govt needs to reverse engineer this themselves or be shit out of luck. write your own cracking software and good luck with your 10 attempts. then fuck off either way.
Do some of you really think the government has the capacity to traverse all the data we go through in our personal lives? The only thing that triggers are those things which are illegal to begin with. Some guy in his basement looking up how to make bombs day after day is going to trigger FBI folks. Its just a fact. Outside of things like that, they aren't reading all of my texts between my friends as I call them names all day.
Oh I get it and agree whit your last post. I just dont think its some huge deal that the government is/can access our phones. I'd prefer they find their own means to go about it.
No, of course not. You are being facetious. There is a big difference between the mass collection of data from ordinary citizens without their consent and requesting that the device belonging to a know terrorist and murderer be hacked for security purposes.
If you think that there isn't a large sect of this country that doesn't like him because his skin color isn't white you're fooling yourself dude. there are going to be a large sect of people that don't like Bernie because he is Jewish. That don't like Rubio or Cruz because they are Latino. Racism exists, but I I'm not going to be a person that denies it isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. We have come a long way. Doesn't mean it still doesn't exist.
