There are a lot of vocal forum members who don't really understand the game or so I'm led to believe by their posts.

Arkansas is not to be taken lightly.

I don't think you're paying attention. Listening to Arkansas, they are taking US lightly. That will lead to many disappointed pigs the day after Thanksgiving. We beat them down unmercifully in '03, and I contend that we'll whip them good this year, too.

I understand the game very well; what I don't understand is how they had to come from behind to beat Vandy and Ole Miss.

AR should have lost the Vandy game .. TWICE .. plain and simple.

The fumble on the goal line was strike one. ....

The FG at the end .. I knew when the guy was lining up he was about to miss .. he was on the hash mark, but when he stepped sideways ... he went along the yardline. Any geometry person cantell you that if you normally step off parallel to the yard line for a 90 degree extra point, ur going to need to change that a bit when your kicking at an angle.

Oh .. and btw .. most of the SEC types of AR fans I know up here have pretty much resided to the fact that they are going to get beat down in Death Valley. They know how good LSU is. It's just the homers who call into radio shows who dont' have a clue.

    b_leblanc That's just my game...

As long as this LSU team stays focused the way they have all season they should have zero problems with ar-kansas. Piggies CANNOT stop the run. They CANNOT run against a 'real' defense. Look what the tide did to them. Swine got torched.

We know Tyler Wilson can take a hit.

Their place kicker isn't half bad.

I keep hearing now from a buddy of mine in Fayetteville that Petrino is in fact working Knile Davis extra hard to see if he'll be ready to go for the LSU game. I doubt that if this is the case that he'd be any good against that defense of all defenses to come back for your first game against.

Personally, I would love to see LSU beat the hell out of them, on the scoreboard AND on the field.

My inside track refutes that. It's questionable if Kniles Davis will even play football again. He didn't just fracture or break his ankle .. he shattered it .... like ... taking a glass and dropping it on concrete.

    D. Johnson is their biggest run threat. Wingo is good in open field, but has no line instinct, and Brodrick Green just sucks .. period. I've never see a "big back" as easy to tackle as Green ..it's almost like he runs up to the line and falls down.

Does Petrino have a winning record against Coach Miles?

If so, there's your reason why the Hog fans are confident that Petrino will again beat Coach Miles.

Yes, the Hog fans for the most part are taking LSU lightly. Why? Because their coach has a winning record vs. our coach. Not only that, but, even Houston Nutt's underdog teams managed to beat LSU at times when it should not have happened.

Why SHOULD the Hog fans respect LSU or this LSU team? This LSU team must COMPEL them to show respect, and, there is only one way to make a Hog fan respect you. There is only ONE language that they understand, and that language is brute and unrelenting force. Dominate the Hogs and beat them SOUNDLY. Then and only then, will they show some respect.

Make it happen, LSU. Fight with the Heart of a Tiger.

I never watch Arkansas unless they play LSU but I read on their forum that they always lose to Tennessee. Is that true? Does Tennessee have their number like Arkansas has ours?

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

Yeah, but that was then, and this is now. I think what's irritating about it is that their arrogance holds very little regard for the current state of the two programs. Living in the past. . .perhaps they're suffering from a mild case of the bama syndrome? I could care less about what's happened before because this game won't be a match-up of teams past. They have struggled week-in and week-out to beat inferior competition while we have obliterated everyone but bama, a team that obliterated them. Their failure to recognize that makes them look ignorant.

But honestly, I say let them be cocky. Let them base their illusions off of a completely insignificant history. It will make the beat-down that much more enjoyable.

I don't think that Arky plays Tenn very often, so, I don't have an opinion on that.

Most Hog fans are very vocal and very confident vs. every opponent. Arky sports is the biggest sports draw in the state, so, Hog sports gets all the attention in state.

Let's see what the Hog fans on this board have to say, if there are any. The Bama fans were very cocksure about what the Tide would do to the Tigers. I expect the Hog fans to be just as cocksure.

Again, Hog fans understand only ONE language. In order for them to get the message, the medium of message delivery will have to be brute, forceful and unrelenting domination. Any other result will NOT shut them up.

I hope that the LSU football players understand this.
