Westworld on HBO. Anybody tune in? I was expecting better and I know it's early, but anything out there beyond a meh? I just wasn't moved like I thought I would be
5 or 6 seasons already planned so it better be good. Plan to check it out soon. I have held off discussing the end of The Night Of final episode. It ruined what was a great series up to that point. Night and Day...reminded me of season 2 of True Detective.
Mr. Robot. I just finished finished marathoning both seasons. Excellent up until the end of season 2. It seemed like they were stalling the story line a bit.
If you didn't like the 1st episode then probably not the show for you. I was really impressed by the 1st episode. This is going to be my type of show for sure. Second episode didn't dissapoint either.
After watching the 2nd episode, I rewatched the 1st and picked up on some detail I missed. It certainly has my attention and now. I am uber curious where this maze, from a long time guest is gonna take the story line. The whole dynamic on how the host are compiling their own memory segments outside of programing leads me to believe that behaviors are gonna become uncontrolable towards guest and that some guest are gonna die. The maze is a total mystery at this point, but everything about this show has you guessing and I really like that. I turn easy on predictable scenarios, early in a series Anthony Hopkins should be our next president. He is a much better actor than the 2 that are running now.
