If the moderators had any sense they would see that and do something.

Example, LSU loses, you say well we'll get them next time. I come after you and say Smoke sux and should be fired and here is why. You're next post: Too stupid to respond. Or: "You should be banned you idiot." Those are the responses, by you guys that should be banned.

BB like everyone else has the right to their opinions about who should start, shouldn't start Friday night games without being called an IDIOT by Tirk or SabanFan. But I respond to Tirk calling me an IDIOT and I get the PM from the moderator.

That's why these boards never last and eventually they end up with 10 homos stroking each other on what a great coach DiNardo was.........

Awesome post BB. Probably the best that I can remember since I began looking at this board.

While I am dissapointed at how the team performed this week, I do know that there is more baseball to be played. I have moments of optimism, and moments of pessimism, but come Friday, I'll be cheering for the Tigers to begin the Road to Omaha on the right foot.

Is this the best team LSU has ever fielded? He!! NO. Are there any teams in the nation that are head and shoulders above us? NO. #1 Tulane beat us by 3 runs when we started our #5 starter, and weaker relievers, while the Greenies threw thier best. This team has underachieved, but in no way should be counted out. If (which it's a big if) they can play to their potential, THIS TEAM CAN GO TO OMAHA, AND BE SUCCESSFUL. Will they? Who know.

Great response. Don't worry I get the same responses from the same people that bash you when someone says anything negative against the Tigers. Sometimes the truth hurts. I heard a good saying today when someone on the radio said that games that the response is always "this game didnt' mean anything or we're waiting for the regionals"....but i promise you if LSU would have beat Southern or would still be in this SEC tournament these same people would be saying yes this was a good win to get us ready for post season play but because we loss them it didn'm mean squat.

Enough with the dam excuses for these guys. We had the same chance Tulane had to pitch a good pitcher. But since it seems we only have 2 productive pitchers that is impossible. Tulane pitched a so called good pitcher and they haven't left the top 5. That excuse won't fly.:geauxtige

good post. I think that's all SF was implying. You can actually be positive even if you don't truly feel LSU is the best team or will win it all. Why else be a fan?

IMO, SabanFan does a fine job of keeping people who only complain in check. It would be nice to just sometimes see such people get excited over LSU athletics.

Sure this is a forum where people gather and express opinions but... You can share your positive thoughts too. You don't have to only share your negative thoughts and be silent the rest of the time.
