Never seen it, so someone will still have to explain it to me.

Basically a guy went crazy and kidnapped the Miami Dolphins mascot...a dolphin. He was after Dan Marino because in a game Dan was the holder and Ray Finkle waas the kicker. He missed a kick in the Super Bowl and blamed Dan for not having the "laces Out". Something like that. It's been several years...

 

And then there was Oregon State’s Alexis Serna in the 2004 opener. He’s probably the most tragic case.

Here’s a freshman kicker in his first game, against the defending champs, no less, AND he has to deal with the curse.

Serna never had a chance. He missed three extra points, including the game-tying try in overtime. It wasn’t his fault. (Let the record show he never missed another extra point that year and led the Pac-10 in field goal percentage).


And this past year, won the Lou Groza Award as the nation's top kicker.

 

Yea, that's definately odd. College kids can't write :shock: :yelwink2:
