I was driving in my truck listening to XM Comedy the first time I heard him, and he was doing that bit. I seriously thought that I was going to have to pull over because I was laughing so uncontrollably. I was sold instantly. Patton is an absolute scream. 'You have a failure pile in a sadness bowl.' Love that guy.
Great feedback from everyone! TexTiger and ContainedChaos are absolutely dead on about Dane Cook. I guess about five years ago, I saw a Comedy Central special with him. This was long before he became as famous as he was today. I thought it was hilarious. When he started becoming well known, I was pleased, until I saw his new act. Dude might as well be in a boy band. The classic guys will always be great. Carlin, Pryor, Murphy, etc., will always be unbelievable. Here is another guy who I just find simply hilarious. His delivery is so funny. Ill agree about Dane Cook. I don't see listen to many comedians unless I come across them accidentally and I already have seen Cook steal stuff plus he isnt funny. I really think he is a better actor.
I saw him on Comedy Central a couple of nights ago. Very funny! I had forgotten who he was, but I remember seeing the Walter character before, and when he did the jalepeno on a stick bit, it all came back to me.
