Saban will always have a special place in my heart for how he resurrected the program after Dinardo kind of got the ball rolling. But I still hate the man, not real hate, just football hate. The same reason that every other fan base hates him, because he's better than everyone else. I think the hate comes from him leaving us for greener pastures and then going to the enemy. Had he ended up at any other school in another conference I don't think you would see it as much. Hell, had he ended up in the east at Georgia or Tennessee I still don't think you would see as much from LSU fans.
It wasn't just the student section, they had maw maws and paw paws right up above me chanting. I'll take you a few pics this time.
