  4. Gumbo weather is setting in. On my way back to Cypress yesterday, I stopped off at Bergerons for some Green Onion Smoked Pork Sausage, Tasso and Andouille. Also a Stuffed Chicken with Corn Bread Dressing. Stuffed Pork Chops. Stuffed Chicken Breasts. Then another stop at Billy's Boudin. Ice Chest full of things to hold me over for a couple weeks.

  6. You couldn't be more wrong. There is literally no way you could make one that was any better than what comes from a jar. Like you said, 2 ingredients. I'm all for letting someone else make it.

  8. I can make it a lot better than what comes in a jar. And I use more than 2 ingredients. Here's one hint. Use bacon grease instead of whatever kind of oil you have been using.
