Blah, blah, blah. Typical PNW babble. Most PAC-10 people in CA don't worry about a "perceived" inferiority to the SEC or any other conference. USC, UCLA, Stanford, and even CAL alums are proud of their schools and their traditions. Ok, maybe CAL isn't when it comes to football. ;) It's the NW schools that really have this inferiority complex. UW hasn't done anything in years and Oregon got shut out of the NC Rose Bowl a few years ago. They blamed it on East Coast bias. (Gee, I didn't know the SEC was east coast, but whatever.) The writer should focus on UW and WSU instead of worrying about the SEC. I live out here on the whacko coast. I know which conference is better, but I still enjoy watching some PAC-10 teams. UW got their butts kicked by Fresno State. The guys up in Seattle should have more to worry about than us (LSU/SEC) and other PAC-10 schools like USC and OSU. UW sucks this year. OSU is about to get run out of Boise tonight. That's right, Boise. OSU will be 0-2 if things hold in this game tonight. That's impressive, man. Oh, and while all this is going on, these same guys are proclaiming the Seahawks Super Bowl participants. Must be the rain.

So no sooner does a Seattle newspaper come out to dog the SEC by citing OSU's game against LSU does OSU get hammered by Boise St. (who?) 53-34. Idiot.

And OSU played on time on a dry field and not ah opener for the season. I just hope we don't have blown coverage just like FLA last year and we did it amung other things against OSU that left a man WIDEOPEN in the END ZONE for 6 again. We left points on the field adn gave points away. Biggest thing is we found a way to get a W and hopefully that speaks volumes. I am looking foward to LSU covering the spread today

Please, lets move on. Screw OSU they are 0-2. Let them run their mouth about what could be or in their mind what should be. We are the reigning National Champions. Everyone will try to beat us and beat their chest when its a close game about how we are not that good or how weak the S E C is. This is the way it is when you have a big target on your back.

Lets settle it in the Orange Bowl SEC vs. Pac-10. The problem is that unless a dominent team emerges in the SEC, it looks like ww'll beat up on each other this year and not likely to land in O-Bowl.

I wonder how long it will be until that author writes his article on how the WAC is 'as good as' the Pac-10...and "by extension", the SEC. I expected a close game between OSU and LSU - but judging a whole conference on one game is absurd. It does make that guy feel better though, you can tell he was elated that OSU didn't get blown out as he feared. It made his e-penis grow.
