good point.....this stuff happens. you just have to take it and go with the flow. Welcome to the board UPTiger!!!
I remember when we scheduled Delta Community College back in '43 and their bus broke down. Talk about being pissed.
A&M should be PO'd and it is just as wrong when our athletic administration did it as it is when teams like VT and Marshall do it to us. No excuse for our former AD nor any other that did it in the past or will in the furure, shame on them all!!!!:dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:
UP, I'm not picking on you as I've stated this myself a few times and I have also seen it written in newspaper articles, I'm just wondering, did anyone from aTm really say some thing that. Sometimes everybody knows they may be thinking some thing of that nature but did anyone actually get quoted on it?
Teams juggle schedules all of the time. Dropping or switching a game with TWO YEARS in advance is very common. All schools have done it. They have to have that kind of flexibility to mesh all of the schedule combinations and not get left out. LSU did nothing bad to A&M and if they are upset about it they will just have to get used to it because it will happen to them again. The problem is with teams that back out of a game with less than a year to gameday. That BS has twice caused LSU grief recently. It is nearly impossible to schedule a game with less than a year remaining.
