I do believe Saddam had very ugly weapons that slipped over the boarder to Syria long before the war started. Did he have a nuclear warhead, no question Not. Could he have a mobile lab that was capable of putting an airborne strain of Ebola into a pressurized shaving cream cans and could he have bought plane tickets for individual terrorist into the US? Yes. Could those terrorist visited a huge trade show in Vegas and release the pressurized canisters into the air intake vents of the convention center? Yes. Would the thousands attending the conventions breathe the air and become infected with Ebola? Yes. Would they then fly home after the convention and spread the Ebola across the US in a week’s time? Yes I understand UBL’s group attached us and Saddam probably did not have a direct hand in sending the order or even financing that attack. But 9/11 changed the way we should think. Preemptive means before they hit us. I understand you can’t hit everybody in the mouth because you think they may hit you, but it is clear to me Saddam viewed our country as an enemy and would have attached us if given enough breathing room. I would have rather fought the war on terror in Afghanistan. We could have been less surgical and more aggressive with less collateral damage. I would rather that jackass spend the rest of his life not sleeping for more than an hour at a time running from cave to cave looking over his shoulder in freezing/hot conditions than sitting in a nice clean jail cell getting 3 hot meals a day, wearing nice suits. You can make all the excuses in the world for W's lack of knowledge. The Clinton administration warned the Bush people several times about OBL........ They had 1 freakin' meeting on the taliban and obl. W dropped the ball..........
Maybe Clinton should have done something about OBL, rather than passing him on to the next Adminstration. Since he attacked us atleast twice during his years as President.
