Use it too often and it's boring or lazily offensive. Sometimes it works to comedic slant. And sometimes it's a way to say, "I ain't your bitch". Perhaps, but by looking deeper it may be that Conservatives decided they don't want to be told what their world view should be. And I think that media portrayal of extreme liberal situations on campus help influence their decisions. and conservative view of the media is not that great.
