I didn't even realize that Rush still had a career. I thought he got busted buying drugs and had criminal charges brought against him. How would that not ruin his career?

As for the personal knocks I hear about Hillary Clinton -- in recent history, I've seen most of them right here on TF. In comparison, I've never seen anyone here on TF take personal knocks on Obama or McCain.

    This is true.

Too huge, possibly, if it gets in the way of objective assessment.

To me, it's Romney who has no personality.

So huge that it can absolutely cloud good judgement. Hell a good number of women voters put Clinton in office because he was "cute". Spare me! Now a similar number of women, mostly 45 and older, are willing to vote Hillary just because she's a woman. Yikes.

I see people jumping on the "change" bandwagon with little thought to what that actually means. It's one thing to be dissatisfied with the current administration but completely different to just move on to the next "hot" candidate.

This is by far the most significant election in my lifetime. The issues are huge and the stakes are enormous. I see little hope of a far left wing (or right wing BTW) candidate doing much to bridge any gaps, particularly in a bitter Congress.

What have any of the candidates said regarding the ridiculous amount of US credit currently owned by the Chinese government? The only one I recall lately is Barak saying he wanted to halt ALL US imports from China ........but changed his comment the next day saying he only meant those with REALLY high levels of lead. Help.

When I write for The Dallas Morning News, I use my maiden name, along with my married name, albeit not hyphenated. I, as a woman, don't see anything wrong with a woman being proud of her maiden name and still using it.

This isn't 1950. I just don't think that Hillary Clinton is a galvanizing figure, though I do, personally, find her intriguing. I always have.

Is Hillary Clinton what you're republican values stand for. I agree with Reagan. I would prefer to see someone in office with whom I agree 75% of the time than someone I agree with 25% of the time.

Okay, no surprise here I'm a republican. I'm not happy with anything that the rep party is putting up and I'm acutally astonished that this is the best that they could come up with. I don't like Mccain and I'm not sold on Romney either. In fact the way I see it, there are two socialist running as democrats, two democrats running as republicans and one republican running as a conservative. Bottom line is this. The president is 1/3 of the system and the two most important things that a sitting president will EVER do are (and you can rank these in any order) are 1. Act as commander in chief and 2. appoint supreme court justices. That is the end of story. Everything else is started and concluded in the senate/hor.

I honestly do not know who I should vote for. Where is the presidential timber?

Red, after reading the last few pages, I'm convinced that you are getting closer and closer to becoming a Hillary supporter.
