Hopefully our experience in 1776 would prevent any of that from happening but... We are already close to that now with no violence, only corrupt politicians and a willing complicit press.
The only check we have left is the courts and they have become questionable at best. Even if they rule to the current "law", some politicians ignore the courts ie, Biden and the October court order to reinstate "remain in Mexico". We still have record illegals.

    The Durham story:

    - Republicans, pissed that trump was investigated for his collusion with Russia, decided to start an "investigation" of their own, so that prompted the very corrupt Bill Barr to appoint a confirmed MAGAt as special investigator.

    - Despite immense time and immense resources, Durham has not been able to find a single shred of evidence that the Clinton campaign paid anybody to hack computers or invent stories about trump, or to use the FBI in any conspiracy against trump.

    - Durham's single, pathetic, expensive indictment against anybody with any sort of connection to Democrats is of Michael Sussman, who Durham claimed on one single solitary count lied to his panel about Sussman's representation of the Clinton campaign. Sussman is a former federal prosecutor and a lawyer who focused on privacy and cybersecurity law, and represented the DNC when Russia hacked into DNC servers in 2016.

    - In the meantime, Rodney Joffee is and was a technical expert in DNS resolution services, whose firm was hired by the Obama administration to prevent hacks and cyber attacks against White House computers.

    - Sussman has pleaded innocent of Durham's accusation, and word came last week that Sussman would be going to court soon to have his indictment thrown out on the basis that it was never properly investigated and that the indictment was purely political, born out of Durham's embarrassment that he can't find dirt on the Clinton campaign.

    - Hearing of Sussman's imminent appeal to the court, Durham decided to make a preemptive move, filing a statement in which he alleges that Sussman and Joffee shared information on behalf of the Clinton campaign.

But here's the big deal in all of this:

    - Durham DOES NOT charge that the Clinton campaign hacked trump's servers.
    - Durham DOES NOT accuse the Clinton campaign of intercepting or eavesdropping on trump's communications.
    - Durham DOES NOT accuse the Clinton campaign of any sort of criminality.
    - Durham HAS NOT sought or gotten any indictment for hacking, spying, eavesdropping, whatever against the Clinton campaign.
    - Durham references "DNS resolution information", which is nothing more than IP addresses and their potential owners. It is NOT criminal to seek or pay for such information (just ask Mike Lindell and Sidney Powell).
    - Fox and other right wing sites deliberately misrepresented Durham's filing, to claim that Clinton infiltrated and hacked into trump servers, in an effort to plant false evidence upon them. Durham DOES NOT make either of those claims, although it's sure obvious that he wish he could.
    - The Durham panel, itself, is in trouble because it failed to disclose what it has obviously found: that trump Tower servers were in constant communication with Vladimir Putin's banks, that the trump campaign used burner phones provided by Russia for numerous communications with Russia. etc.
    - NOTHINGBURGER, which is the reason GENUINE news outlets (that is, not Fox, not Newsmax, not the National Review, not OAN) have not devoted much time to any of it.

It's just those mean ole Republicans that are corrupt. Dems are pure hearted do-gooders without a shred of self serving interests and only want what's good for POC, the environment, and the poor. They would never use their position or their policies to enrich themselves.

    You're such a sanctimonious douche.

Facts are facts. Durham has not charged anybody with hacking, spying, infiltrating, or planting false evidence. He sure wants to, though, obviously. This recent filing is purposely vague, to rile up morons who don't know the first thing about DNS lookups or IP addresses. His "investigation" has been a giant waste of time and money.

I'm not as much up on this as you genius'. you're writing about this like it's been brought before a judge and he's found the evidence credible. has it? or is it more of the same as every other conspiracy theory we've seen over and over? was the my pillow guy involved in digging up this valuable evidence? because durham's been on the case quite some time now. and if you "aren't exactly a trump lover" you would've never even pulled that #8 out of your ass as a legitimate question. other questions too, but the only people who who could possibly think january 6 wasn't a big deal are the sheep. so yes, i would have to say you are a trump supporter.
