The real reason that Mark Emmert left LSU...

The real issue that no one has addressed is how many nationally and internationally respected professors and researchers that Emmert talked into moving to Louisiana to bring this university to the next level are going to follow him to the University of Washington or just leave for other pastures since he is no longer here. The loss of Emmert goes a lot deeper than losing one man. We are about to lose a lot of research dollars and respect.

Blanco has really turned into a total waste.

 

Here's one person who never thought that her worm turned, PERIOD.

She was always a cull.

She lied on camera to the entire STATE of Louisiana-made up a BALD FACED LIE, and then NEVER ADMITTED TO IT.

Yet we elected her...

Kathleen Babineaux Blanco...Where is your dastardly "Republican Truth Squad" you accused Bobby Jindal of launching against you?

I have rarely seen so many Democrats rally around such an uninspiring character...Then again, I haven't seen many Kerry rallies...

She is a waste...and I have some ideas floating around...

 

If only Jindal would have addressed Blanco's smear ads... Screw you Blanco!

In other words, "he has his own opinion and it doesn't agree with mine". I just prefer to let things fall in place before sounding the alarm. You have impressionable children here (Sourdough) and you shouldn't be scaring them like that.

 

i sure as hell dont agree with TE's drivel sometimes but i don't see this as an overreaction. I think this is this looms large as a very traumatic thing to LSU overall. Greater than any coach or AD leaving and the impact this has will not be known for years to come unless we get someone with at best, half of Mr. Emmert's vision. I do not like this at all. I sure hope I am wrong.

 

Unfortunately you're not wrong. How many millions of dollars of reseach grant money that a man like Emmert would have been able to get for LSU will now be going to Washington because of Blanco's shortsidedness. How many top notch researchers, scientists and professors who were hired by Emmert are going to have "For Sale" Signs in their yards in the next few weeks.
