Well, I bet Miles wanted JJ to get some prolonged game time experience for the last leg of the season. He may have had plans to bring Lee in starting the 3rd series but changed his mind seeing that JJ needed some more work. I think this is JJ's show from here on out with Lee making cameo's much like last season.
lee probably caught some smak in his classes and had 2 choice's. curb stomp somebody and get sat out or miss class. i'd attend class and take names. come feb. i'd read my list and curb stomp me somebody. :hihi:
So that was a bad call by stud, but the first play back in the game for JL against Bama after throwing an INT was to throw a deep pass, and that is ALL JL's fault?
no I thought the staff did a awful job knowing what Bama was going to do JL played tight but the staff did not do what I thought they would do to protect JL the 2nd int was a awful play call by stud
i hope it is an academic issue ... JJ sucked last year and was bailed out by Lee multiple times, yet Lee never started. So, it is interesting to me that JL has one bad game and gets yanked? Does not seem very consistent from a coaching standpoint and CANNOT be good from a player's standpoint. I hope there is more to the story ... and quite frankly, i do not think LSU can beat Arkansas with JJ alone.
We'll see. But I think Les has a double standard for Jefferson and Lee. Jefferson gets lots of mulligans and Lee does not. Lee has had one bad game this year and got benched for it an lost his starting job. Jefferson had better set the world on fire if he gets all the PT from here on out. I saw a lot of the Jefferson that I didn't like last night . . . holding onto the ball too long, taking a sack in the end zone, intentional grounding. Lees errors at Bama did not put up points for the opponent, but Jefferson's did. Why didn't he get pulled at that point, like Lee did?
