No one is fooled. The 2-quarterback system got scrapped as soon as Les got an excuse with those 2 interceptions at Bama. Les is going to play Jefferson from here on out. Lee will get mop-up duty. I just don't get it.
JL was probably just frozen numb by what happened in the Bama game and it carried over to the college class work week. Not a good decision though to miss classes, if that is in fact the reason for him not playing more. IMO, Lee could have used some sports psychologist sessions after some of the bad times early in his LSU career that maybe would've made him more prepared to deal with adversity. Just my two cents.
What does he need to graduate for? He'll make millions as an NFL first round pick. Wait. Maybe he'd better go to class.
Red After all Les has done for the Tigers you think he would handle something like the starting QB any ohter way than with the best for the team as his goal?
I was wishing the sideline reporter would have asked him about the QB's on the way to the locker room at halftime. I know the game was close into the 3rd quarter, but did anyone notice Miles seeed a little uptight throughout? He just didn't seem himself, even in the halftime interview.
I agree with Red. JL needed a confidence booster and didn't get it from CLM. Besides, he deserved better for the job he's done up to the Bama game. CLM is considered a players coach so, other than punishing JL for missing classes (if that is fact), I feel certain the best thing for the team would've been to give JL a chance to redeem himself and regain confidence against an overwhelmingly outmatched team. Besides, JJ sucks overall! Look at the stats and offensive rankings the last 2 years. Bottom nationally, even with 4 and 5 star talent to throw to. JL has been most efficient in the conference up to the Bama game.
I don't care what you think ! I am not going to get pulled into this questioning of CLM at this point. I am sure work and BR will be buzzing with worry about the QB position. I am just going to enjoy the ride and allow my Head Coach to handle the team. I assure you I am glad he is running things and not the red-necks of South Louisiana - the coon-asses - and the computer nerds ! Jarrett and Jarrett alone caused the problem on why he is no longer the starter. Watch a replay of the the Bama game !
I noticed Miles was not himself this game but I also noticed him eating grass again so I just took it for what it was worth. I think CLM expected the score to be much higher by the half as did the rest of us.
