1. Oh damn I'm thinking of Sullivan.

Jesus, I forgot about Dillon as well.

We had 19 players either drafted or signed as a free agent.

Gotta believe that is a new record. Would have to check out Ohio State from 2004 to see if they had 19 total players signed.
  2. Did Moss leave early? He spent one year at NC state and transferred to LSU in 2017 and star out a year with a broken foot. Sounds like he still had eligibility
  3. He had a year of eligibility remaining but chose to leave and declare for the draft.
  4. Moss was the only player that didn't get drafted that declared early. So the other 8 Tigers that declared early made sound business decisions and the worst pick was mid 4th, which means you have probably slightly better than 50% chance of making the team.

I know a lot of people were saying both Queen and Phillips shouldn't have left, but the draft proved out that they certainly should have. Same thing can be said about CEH and Jefferson most obviously, as well as Cush. You could argue Charles staying and possibly going no worse than the second round next year if he could play his entire season healthy as a senior and put the past behind him regarding the suspension.

Regarding Moss, obviously a big mistake, but ultimately what was his ceiling in the draft anyway?

Maybe 4th round if he had a solid senior season?
  5. He wouldn't have had Joe Burrow throwing him the ball.
  6. Moss just isn't built like the NFL wants a blocking to be built. He is great at catching the ball. Too bad he didn't inherit some of his daddy's speed.

  7. He isn't gonna make it in the NFL as a pass catching TE is my point. He better get a top notch work ethic and learn to block.
  8. Pass catching defeciencies aside, I never really noticed him shying from blocking up or down field.

  9. Just out of curiosity, what would the average contract for a UDFA be worth?
  10. Lot more that I make a year.

    League min is $495K/year.
