We've got 10 drafted so far.

LSU tied the record for 7 in the first 2 rounds and also tied the record for 10 in the first 3 rounds.

Here are the expected ones to go on day 3 by the end of the 5th round:

    Moss
    Charles
    Lawrence

12 is the record for the first 4 rounds, and LSU has an outside shot to get all 3 of those guys selected to make it a new record of 13.

That leaves these 5, in which we need 2 to get drafted to break Ohio State's record of 14:

    Divinity
    Magee
    Sullivan
    Fehoko
    Ferguson

It's gonna be really close. I expect Divinity to be drafted, but what happened last year with him taking time off might scare teams away.

Agree. Think the record may have been a slam dunk if they'd have been able to have Pro Day. You think Dillon may have an outside chance?

Somebody might take a flyer on Blake Ferguson late in the 7th. Get a good long snapper and you're set for 14-20 years.

2 long snappers have gotten drafted.

It's a very long shot, but it could happen.

I would take a flyer on him in the 7th round.

I always wondered why centers didn't do that. In high school our center did all the long snapping and we never ran any kind of offense with the QB anywhere but under center. Nowdays centers have to snap to a QB a few yards behind the line on every play. Nothing longer there than an extra point or field goal snap.

Speculation on my part but I can see two reasons. First the center snap to a shotgun QB has to be soft enough for the QB to handle smoothly and quickly while the snap to a kicker/holder must be quick and very accurate.
Second a center at 300+ lbs would be a liability in kick coverage while you see many kick snappers make tackles. Also it’s a lot to ask a center to wrestle DL then run 40+ yards.
    It’s become a specialty
