The D.C. Attorney General has just announced that the trump Organization in New York has been added back to D.C.'s lawsuit against the trump inaugural committee for misusing funds to enrich the trump family, and that the trial is full steam ahead now.

I wonder if the judge will allow the fact that trump is an endless cheater and grifter at everything else to be entered as evidence?

No, it means it's his problem to deal with. So be it.

When you see white supremacy everywhere, you're tuned out, have ZERO credibility, and are exposed for the self righteous virtue signaling ass that you are.

I don't see white supremacy everywhere. I see it as the reason for supporting trump. He's such a shitty person, horrible leader, and ineffectual politician that there's no rational reason to support him except a racist one. He was the inevitable culmination of Republican Party history.

The Republican Party, itself, doesn't exist to promote racism. That's not the goal. That's just their method. Their reason for existence is to make rich people richer, and they use racism as their means to achieve it. They stoke racial division, they keep middle class and poor white people voting against themselves by making them believe that minorities are the reason for their problems. trump came along and recognized what resonated among such voters so ramped up the racist rhetoric even higher.

You, yourself, provided evidence of all this yesterday when you proclaimed that trump's $3.2 billion tax cut was for the middle class. It was FAR from that, but you swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. The average American got $750 in tax relief, the richest 10% got $10k on average, and everybody got a hit to their future prosperity because that bit of legislation exploded the national deficit.

Thanks for showing that the rich don't pay their fair share. "Fair" is whatever we perceive it to be. From where I sit, the ultrarich get far more from this country than what they pay in.

It's unreasonable to believe that those who receive the most benefit should pay the most? You see, that's what makes you an easy target for the Republican Party.

The graph is deceptive. Now, let's redo it to show what percentage of DISPOSABLE income and wealth each sector pays. It's American society as a whole, the laws and institutions that structure it, the producers and consumers who participate, the history of how we got to it all, that should be considered.... not just government receipts vis-a-vis income. The rich get FAR MORE from this country than what they pay in. They should pay FAR MORE for the benefit. Other developed countries recognize this, and have fairer tax structures.

You are a perfect example of class envy. Instead of working hard to become rich a lazy entitled clown like you would rather TAKE from the wealthy or try to DESTROY them.

the US tax system is one of the world's most progressive. poor people hardly pay taxes at all. the scandinavian countries you lefties love have less progressive taxes and the middle classes pay way more.

so just under half the country is white supremacist?

the wise man argues using data, not their gay perceptions. the fact is the US rich pay a shitload of taxes, and the poor pay almost nothing. any tax cut will necessarily benefit the rich, because there are the ones paying the bills. you cant cut taxes on the botton 40% they arent even paying anything.

the inequality we have is because some people are smart and hardworking and others are idiots.
