    i would imagine lsu would have to make some special declaration when having multiple players with the same #, kinda like declaring a tackle eligible for catching a pass.

    I can imagine your reaction while thinking RP was covering kicks. I know if I would have seen it I would have fallen out of my chair.

    The NCAA allows identical numbers as long as they are not on the field at the same time. If they are, it's 5 yard penalty.

    What's amazing, is that even the box score on LSU sports.net didn't figure that one out. They gave RP credit for making a tackle.:hihi:

    I kinda understood the ignorance of ESPN having Mario Stevenson (DB # 6) as one of the top PAT guys in the country a few years ago instead of Colt David (K #6), because they are just dumb, and don't have time to research evry number on every team.
