They have nice football and baseball stadiums in Fayetteville too, thanks to the Waltons money but I wouldn't want to live there either.
Fayetteville does have gorgeous natural scenery, though. That's a plus. Stillwater was simply in the middle of nowhere.
Actually Fayetteville is a nice little town with a thriving entertainment district. Lot's more for college students to do than you would think in such a small town.
