Shoot, were chuggin' red bulls? Surely there had to be a place to stay on the way home.

No. Since it was a day game the plan was to leave Ga. and go down the road and then get a room once I got tired. I think everbdy had a home game plus a car race and nothing. they even had the no vacancy signs out. Finally got to BR and said screw it were going all the way to Lafayette.

I've reserved a cabin at the Hugh White State Park in Grenada, Ms. Hugh White is the 4th closest park to Oxford. Cabins are all booked up at the 3 closest parks.

I don't know what the weather is like up there in late November but tent camping can be fun, and cheap. The closest Ms State park is 25 minutes from Oxford.

    Colonel,
Since we're discussing the trip to Ole Miss, what are the local laws on alcoholic beverage consumption in public and open alcoholic beverage containers in Oxford? in the Miss state parks?

I'm pretty sure the state parks ban it. However, I don't think they push it too hard if you are say bbq'n at your cabin. I wouldn't make it so obvious that they felt like they had to show their authority. They tailgate like everyone else. They sneak their drinks in too. But wearing P/G will get you a ticket by our friendly HP quicker than us. Of course, they would deny that..But same by the La. HP. Use a designated driver.

Thanks for the info, but I'll have to correct you. In my experience, cops on the LSU campus are far too busy with the locals to bother with visitors.
