They still have a tough road to hoe. Problem with this win is that they are going to be very very confident going forward.

 

I don't think that will be a problem with this team, the sweater vest really knows how to motivate a team-the 41-14 door code for the weight room and the wins he has against Michigan. Plus the "you don't deserve #1" talk is not going to go away until we beat an SEC team.

I just would like us to get better and better. The D looked soft tonight, I was hoping for shutout but PSU put a few drives together.

 

Seriously, WHO HAVE YOU PLAYED that is note worthy?

 

Like I said, the "you don't deserve #1" talk will not go away. It won't even go away if we win the NC game against Boston College or Oregon or West Virginia. This program needs to beat LSU (or another SEC team) in the NC to make that talk go away.

 

I do have to say you have a point there.....except the beat LSU part.

 

Beat quality opponents. Penn St. played highschool football tonight. I can't say how much of it was Ohio State.. but a large part was the Penn St. team playing pansy football. Physical football is what gets respect down here. :]

I'd say smoke a top 10 team.. but with your schedule it's just not an option.

The jury is still out on whether the buckeyes can live up to the hype.
