Are you confident they'll cover 34? I tend not to be. But they did score 37 on a much better TCU. I guess it's possible. But I think I'd take the 34 if I were still a betting man.
So are they jackets (as their name implies) or dragons (as their logo implies)? What is it with teams in alabama and their identity crises? Auburn can't decide if they're tigers, eagles, or plainsmen. bama can't decide if they're a body of polluted water or a pachyderm. Apparently, UAB caught the same disease.
We rarely cover the spread, IIRC. But since we almost always win...it's no big deal for us non-gamblers.
For those gambling gurus, anybody have the stat line of LSU covering such a big spread? My guess is it's about a 50/50 proposition.
That would be nice, but for the sake of doing the right thing, I hope he sits a couple of more games out and even the Auburn game, show everybody that Les cares more about doing what is right vs just winning football games Add on the fact we will give Magee many more reps, we need depth just in case of injury and to have fresh legs in the 4th against the likes of Georgia, A&M, Ole Miss and Alabama. We can also see if Hilliard can get back to his bulldozing ways.
So, just what IS standard punishment for a barfight in Les Miles's history? I think one game is plenty.
By the way, for those of you who can't make it to the game, it will be broadcast on ESPNU at 6pm (just added that info to thread title).
No doubt and he could end up being our starter down the stretch. Dude reminds me of a faster, smaller Stevan Ridley. He hits the hole hard and is tough to bring down, which is what Les loves out of his running backs.
