I don't disagree about losing Jordan, but Doc Rivers should have kept his mouth shut.

It's not the pitch part that is disturbing, it's the fact that Rivers said Jordan didn't owe Cuban and explanation or apology, or at least a call saying, sorry Mark just can't leave LA.

I would expect any civilized and decent human being to act like a professional and at least call a person saying that they have decided against the offer they already agreed to. And Doc Rivers basically just told the world it's totally cool to quit your job or back out of deals without a phone call. Sure fuck em, be a snake.

That's not a very professional nor decent thing to do.

That being said, fuck Jordan, Mavs don't need a guy like that.

he didnt owe cuban shit. this is big corporate business and dudes get their throats cut from upper management all the time with zero warning and its game over. should he have called and spoken to cuban like a man because its the right thing to do. yes. does he owe cuban anything as a player to owner. fuck no he doesnt. strictly bidness.

That's the gist of it. Anybody has the right to decide to take a better offer at any time but Jordan is a pussy for not having the stones to at least call Cuban and tell him instead of sneaking off like a weasel.

The fault is on Cuban and the Mav's. They had a deal and then they let Jordan run off alone, BAD MOVE. Cuban should have kept him within arms length until the ink was dry.

    damn straight.

upper management screws the peons in real life on a minute by minute basis. aint no one should be crying for cuban. although hes one of the ones who treats his subordinates with class.

That's bullshit. When you make a verbal agreement as a man when you back out of it and you don't give a friendly call to at least say you aren't honoring your agreement you are a piece of shit.

It's just like quitting a job or not taking a job, have the decency to put in a notice instead of being a scumbag and just not showing up.

I don't disagree but people who do shit like that back out and don't at least call to say they are doing it are scumbags.
