Loved watching the CST replay. I especially loved watching 98 Jordan Allen again. The dude is gonna be a monster, as will Hunter, Dad I hate to say it but I'd rather a hungry Hunter and a hungry Allen than a Mingo and Montgomery eyeing the NFL.

Both are fighting for playing time. Allen was being held all night, the one call he got, he was tackled by the OT. Hunter was so fast, the OT couldn't get a hand on him. I passed Hunters High School today (Morton Ranch). Allen was kind of a lost guy, good to see him playing well.

What do you think of Rasco on the end, his lack of speed was exposed a few times on the zone read, are you hearing anything?

He missed a couple times, Chief and Brick will work with him this week. Allen and Hunter played very good, those three will be swapped all game. We should see a few more this weekend. I did see Justin Maclin playing Sat also. I like Beckwith at DE another big kid that could play the position.

I don't know if it was a lack of speed... More of a lack of decision... He's supposed to pick either the pitch man or the back and he picked neither... He should've blasted the qb... even if he's wrong, he gets a free shot on the qb which makes him think about that hit the next time...

If you remember when LSU had to play Ga. Tech in a bowl game a few years back, LSU practiced without a football. That made the defense get the dive man, RB and QB.

I believe we did the same thing preparing for O's offense.

When preparing for the O, LSU ran a 1st, 2nd and 3rd team back to back, making the defense, set early, making calls early, etc.
