    I misunderstood the bet !

I think you're taking advantage of my good nature,...I accept your terms, but only until Sept. 23, 2011, 09:04 GMT.

One problem, I need help with the procedures to create the horrible thing.
I don't want to be a bother though, I'll happily keep my old avatar.

Heck, they are all over. On the Sunday following the 07 Florida game I was travelling through Tuscaloosa and stopped at my 'usual' gas station to fill up. Had my LSU flags on the windows of my truck; I noted that there were a lot of Bama (of course) and Auburn cars filling up as well. I go into the station to use the restroom and when I came out my flags had been snapped off my truck. A few weeks later in the season (Thanksgiving weekend) I was in Anniston, AL visiting my mom, went to the grocery store and had my replacement flags on the truck, as well as my Mississippi LSU #193 license plate; I'm stopped at a red light and the occupants of the car next to me start screaming F*%& YOU! F*%& LSU!.
A couple of weeks after Katrina hit I was at a GA game with relatives and was treated with courtesy (tho I did see *some* ugly behaviour towards the opposing team), even with LSU stuff on my car and my purple tshirt on.
Every venue has them, regardless of team, location or conference.

Anybody happen to get a photo with that hot blonde chick wearing the Oregon Flag as a cape at the Cowboy Classic? I missed out but would love a pic of it for my album.

Congrats on big win LSU! Just got back to Eugene and am catchin up on the forums. You guy's got some studs on D. I was impressed by #7, he was all over the field and fearless for a small back. Turnovers killed us obviously, but the root of the loss in my opinion was the same thing that killed us with Auburn- We didn't use the offense that created all of our success the past 5 years. The QB read option! We again, in the big game decided to not run our QB for whatever reason. The running lanes were there, I could see them, but Thomas only ran the ball once, and option tossed once. We made it too easy to focus on LJ.We moved the ball, but I know we could have done better with at least a couple of QB keepers to keep your defense guessing a little more. Wish we woulda showed you a better game, sorry. Now I have time to get back to Elk hunting until Pac 12 play. Cheers

It wasn't necessarily that Oregon didn't use the offense, but the fact that they couldn't use the offense. We all tried to tell you guys about this stifling defense. NONE of you would listen, with your game-winning predictions and friendly smack-talk.

That's all good, but to say that the ducks super high octane offense stalled because of one play...lol. Run that play, and Darron Thomas gets destroyed EVERY SINGLE TIME, whether he pitches off or not. You saw the game, you saw how fast the LSU defenders closed the gaps and got to the ball. Lamichael James got chased down by a DE, I mean sh*t.

People try to say that if you take all the turnovers out of the game it would've been a different story. Well that's true, but, that's part of the game. Don't give ANY credit to the LSU defense at all, it was just the Oregon offense's mental mistakes. (Insert sarcasm smilie here) Just like all the penalties, those guys were getting beat by the guy in front of them, that messes with the psyche of a football player who's used to stomping lesser competition.

Do you really think the speed of Darron Thomas would've made that much of a difference? Well, it didn't. Neither did James's.

So,.... the pelicans in Louisiana,.. are they white pelicans?

That's the kind we have here, summer in Klamath Falls, winter in Mexico. High school team is the Pelicans, Pelican Theatre, Pelican hotel, etc.

    Go Ducks

The running lanes were there for Thomas, Kelly didn't want to run him for whatever reason. I am not discrediting LSU's defense, they were fast and could tackle that's for sure. We never, NEVER, even attempted to run the QB option. Yes maybe Thomas get's crushed, but we needed to at least attempt to make your defense suspect of the QB. As far as the turnovers go, your defense earned 3 of them! And fortunately for your team they were in excellent field position because our defense wasn't too bad either. Congrats on your deserved new position in the BCS. Time to regroup over here.
