okay, i should have said "do you 'expect' Lee to light them up...". All in all Lee played a very good game. A few drops and a bad call, and of course, a still somewhat conservative play calling didn't help his stats. But give it up for Lee, he played well, ...1st game, huge stage, tons of pressure... great win against a great team...
Epic win tonight boys! I am so drunk wow... I was so scared tonight was our season... so happy right now...
Great Win and the D is going to be what I thought ! O will only get better and for the first game with the 3 weeks this team has had I am very happy with what I saw. Geaux Tigers
There is some pretty funny stuff here: Portland Oregon Chat Game chat recap: No. 4 LSU 40, No. 3 Oregon 27 (final) | OregonLive.com "well, the Tigers may be eating DUCKS, but Sacramento State is eating Beavers."
All I can say is awesome. Just friggin awesome. I didn't know what I was going to see last night but as a whole...................................It was awesome! GEAUX TIGERS!
I have seen little talk from this in the media or by Oregon coaches or posters, but Oregon did not run a play every 8 seconds. LSU was so up in their heads, and so physically fast, that they checked at the line, looked confused, and had no idea what to call. I bet Oregon ran a play every 25 seconds. THAT is what LSU did to Oregon tonight. Took them right out of their comfort zone and they did not have a "plan B". Credit Chavis for having the right game plan in place and calling a great defensive game. Herbstreet is an idiot. Early in the game he was saying stuff like, "in the battle of Kelly vs Chavis, it looks like Kelly is winning"........ By the end of the game that buttmunch had to eat his words left and right at our domination on both sides of the ball. Gotta love it! Geaux Tigers!!!
...and for that reason the NCAA needs to keep a close watch on Oregon. Kelly knows he needs better talent and he'll only be able to get it by....$$$. I don't believe the state of Oregon is going to be a big draw for a lot of the south's high school talent.
