LSU has won 9 of its past 14 games against Alabama including 5-of-6 in Tuscaloosa. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=209293372
0% chance of that happening. What Les said after the UGA loss was just coach speak, people want to hear that you will make changes after a loss. We as LSU fans know that means nothing will change and we will continue doing the same thing. JJ was a 3 year starter and original starter for 2011 when he put him in...Jennings has thrown probably 5 passes in his career.
I think we'll see some more calls like this. Read Will Blackwell's comment about 5 or 6 down. https://twitter.com/RealPeterson21/status/360107474394693632/photo/1
that would be completely false Tennessee is a decent team who had been playing well (should have beat Georgia, did beat South Carolina in the two weeks prior to playing Bama). You're going to tell me Tennessee is just that bad after almost beating two top 15 teams back to back? Alabama made them look like an 0-12 team.
Coaching may indeed be a little bit of the blame, amigo. But coaching may also be a little bit of the blame for our overall success. Criticism of Les does not annoy me, but the notion that Les is responsible for all of LSU's problems and for none of its success annoys the crap out of me. Those that tell me that I cannot consider just how well Les has done here and must only consider how bad he is going to do in the future send me thought the roof. Even more annoying is the notion that Nick does everything perfectly and Les is just a clown. It reeks of the Charley Mac / Bear Bryant witch hunt that ended the first golden age of LSU football. Nick is a fine coach, but he ain't OUR coach. Nick did a fine job at LSU, but Les has done better. Nick packed up and left us, while Les has turned down multiple offers to stay at LSU. Nick has done a fine job at Bama, but so what? Fuck Nick Saban.
Take any five-year period in Les' tenure and it surpasses the job Nick did in his five years at LSU. More wins, top-10 recruiting, and the same number of championships.
