    I played JUCO ball and walked on after JUCO. I also stayed on as a GA after senior year.

    His coaching and the behavior of the team, most notably since the NC game meltdown, indicate otherwise. I'm just going by what I see on the field.

    How do you know he has just as much fire in his belly? You sure can't tell by his coaching or by looking at the team.

    You mean he's coached some tough losses? Tough losses like losing to a much inferior Ole Miss team that had so many injuries they almost couldn't field a defense? An important SEC West opponent that is much more important. Team looked prepared didn't they?

    So it's not his desire that's lacking, just his coaching correct?

    Maybe when you are loose and aloof at times, more of a friendly father type, you get a different outcome than the nictator, ruling with an iron fist.

    Nah not me, I'd rather be a perennial top 10 with kids that come here to have fun and play football. Not number 1 with kids who get shit on and used up before the NFL, but have rings. They aren't that important.

    I hear what you're saying but I think you can have both, ala Pete Carol at USC.
    Actually Miles seemed to do it as well in his first few years at LSU but he's never been the same after the 2007 NC and he lost his Lesticles.

    I've been to every game and our players don't look like they're having fun.

    While I agree Miles wants badly to win, it doesn't approach the level of Nicky, who dies another death everytime his team loses. This is why they are at a point where they may not lose more than 1 game in a season for several years.

    I'm not better than that. Many lsu fans are unobjective but gd I can't stomach the shoe licking gumps -you know the ones who would literally lick the shit off sabans shoe- if this had ever come to pass. My god. They cant even have an open discussion because they'd rather disuss themselves over their actual opponent.

    They may patronize you for a bit like a hot chick does for 2 minutes before getting back to their favorite subject. Them.

    I really have no patience for either. God please strike down this Death Star before I have to myself. Al Qaeda really needs to step up for me here.
