    This defense is fucking horrible. They can't read and react so they might as well start to play aggressive and try to make something happen because this isn't working.

    I would have to say we have questionable recruiting on the defensive side of the ball to replace all the talent that has left.

    I don't see a playmaker or a leader out on that field.

    Even Ego and Freak are of limited upside. They can be handled. They are not the dominant D-linemen we need them to be this season.

    I know I can be over critical at times and I know this defense is young, but theLSU defense hasn't been this bad in at least 15 years. It's not a lack of talent, they should be the best defense in the nation NEXT year, but this year they definitely SUCK!!!!! They can't rush the passer. They can't stop the rush and they can't cover receivers. This defense is very young, very talented and very bad.

    This defense is playing like crap at all levels. Might as well dial up some blitzes if you're gonna get gashed like a hooker on payday anyway. This is ridiculous.
