1. I thought the gameplan for the Saints was bad today. Way too much passing. I thought maybe they were gonna use the pass to set up the run, but they used the pass to set up the pass. I thought they might have used the draw play today. With the Bears D rushing up field every single play, the draw to deuce or reggie would have been huge.

And the O-line played it's worst game of the season. And Brees held on to the ball too long, something he hasn't done all year. I agree that the Saints practicing indoors all week was a bad decision.

With all this said, the Saints still had a SPECTACULAR season. Good thing is that they're a young team with all their skill players locked up for years. I think Payton and the Saints will learn from this and be right back in the thick of things next season. The defense has to be addressed this offseason. Thomas and Bullocks are HORRIBLE. Future looks bright and Im proud to be a Saints fan. Thanks boys for a great season.
  2. When you fall behind early and are forced to be one deminsional the D has a very clear advantage and it showed.
  3. I think we're all missing the key question: Did the Saints not RESPECT the Bears??
  4. The Bears have no business being in the Super Bowl. They had the ball 3 times 1st and goal against our HORRIBLE defense and came away with three FGs. Lovie Smith sucks and his little qb too. The cubs will get their A$$ kicked in the SB no matter who they play. The cubs were given this game today. I also found it funny that the Bears had no penalties today?
  5. That wasn't the issue and definitely wasn't the case. I will say that the Bears D fed off all the media hype on the Saints offense and took that to be great disrespect and came out with something to prove.

The damn media set us up.
  6. Lovie had his guys playing disciplined ball. I think both teams played pretty clean. Just one team was better.

And I'm sure RESPECT played into it somehow.
