Spoken like a gentleman! If we were to hate Bama just because they won a bunch of football games against us way back when, I'd have to question whether I had an inferiority complex against Bama. We surely don't have that, so it's quite fair to say that we love it when we beat Bama at anything. We'd like to see it happen very, very often. When we beat Bama, we know dang well that we have accomplished something exceptional. Most importantly, we like Bama, because they hate Auburn and Tennessee as much as we do!

Thanks for the respect, and it is returned.

I for one, don't want to see Bama perpetually handicapped by NCAA sanctions, because I want Bama to play on even footing. I would love to have some easy wins over Bama, but, not because Bama is penalized by the NCAA.

I hope that only just sanctions are handed out by the NCAA. It might seem naive to say this, but that is my wish.

They have sanctions because they were not playing on even footing. Haven't for a long, long, time.

Thanks JeanLafitte. BTW, the Bear used to say that beating LSU, especially in Tiger Stadium, was second only to beating Auburn. He used to take a special glee in beating Mac and that is another reason why I "hate" Bama!

I hate to break it to you, but the top two teams that Coach Bryant liked to defeat were Auburn and Tennessee.
