1. I can't remember if it was the Saints, but you are correct there was a play that was held up because the wrist was down.

    I thought it was down last night, and I really can't sit here and say that Auburn wouldn't have won, but how do you miss that? Especially when you get to see it again. Oh well, anything to make people think that Auburn won unFairley, is ok with me....
  2. I believe the rules consider the wrist and hand similar to feet, so a player is not down if they touch. The elbow is considered like the knee, so it touching the ground is cause to call the player down. Neither his knee nor elbow touched the ground, so I never expected the call to be reversed.

    If it was called differently in a different game, that doesn't mean the refs got the call wrong last night.
