Most pitchers want to but this is a coach's decision. If he blows out arms even if not his fault stupid fans repeat it and recruiting becomes a problem. Well Labas is seemingly a wuss but I'm sure hilliard wants to go.
Last year in the CWS Eric Walker took himself put of the game after a few pitches or an inning or so. I was calling him a wuss then but it turned out he was right. Needed Tommy John.
